Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2005-0247)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in multiple functions when parsing PL/PgSQL commands. A remote user can send specially crafted request to the database, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the system.
