Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2009-1800)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.The weakness exists due to stack-based buffer overflow in CGAgent ActiveX control (CGAgent.dll). A remote attacker can create a specially crafted Web page that passes an overly long string to the CreateChinagames() method, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in arbitrary code execution on the vulnerable system.
