Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2013-3213)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the (1) picklist_name parameter in the get_picklists method to soap/customerportal.php, (2) where parameter in the get_tickets_list method to soap/customerportal.php, or (3) emailaddress parameter in the SearchContactsByEmail method to soap/vtigerolservice.php; or remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (4) emailaddress parameter in the SearchContactsByEmail method to soap/thunderbirdplugin.php. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2013-7326)
Vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform Cross-site scripting attacks.
An input validation error exists in vTiger CRM 5.4.0 when processing (1) return_url parameter to modulescom_vtiger_workflowsavetemplate.php, or unspecified vectors to (2) deletetask.php, (3) edittask.php, (4) savetask.php, or (5) saveworkflow.php. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim's browser in security context of vulnerable website.
