Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Security bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-0580)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to circumvent the Same Origin Policy on the target system.The weakness exists due to an error in the setClipboard() function. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted shockwave file, trick the victim into into viewing it and insert persistent data into the clipboard.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in security bypass on the vulnerable system.
2) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-0587)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.The weakness exists due to boundary error when processing .swf files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted Web site, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in arbitrary code execution on the vulnerable system.
3) Use-after-free error (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-8439)
