1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-9600)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists in the JP2 encoder feature due to NULL pointer dereference when processing crafted JPEG 2000 image files. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted JPEG 2000 image file with an application, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and cause the service to crash.
