No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

2) Resource exhaustion

EUVDB-ID: #VU39823

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 1.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2016-7428

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.

ntpd in NTP before 4.2.8p9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (reject broadcast mode packets) via the poll interval in a broadcast packet.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.
