CVE-ID: CVE-2017-2994
CWE-ID:
CWE-416 - Use After Free
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free error in Adobe Flash Player when processing PSDKEvent objects. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted .swf file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system. MitigationInstall updates from vendor's website.
