1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12067)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer over-read in the interpolate_cubic function in mkbitmap.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service attack.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-7263)

The vulnerability allows remote attackers to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted BMP image.
