Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition when dropping privileges to a non-root account for the /run/tinyproxy/tinyproxy.pid file. A local user can exploit the race and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
