Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-7584)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists due to stack-based buffer overflow when handling malicious input. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP response packets, trigger memory corruption and cause the application to crash.
2) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.The weakness exists due to memory leak in pg_escape_bytea(). A remote attacker can gain access to arbitrary data.
