Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the display_debug_ranges function due to the improper processing of crafted ELF files that contain DWARF information. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ELF file, trigger integer overflow and cause the service to crash.
