Description

The vulnerability allows an adjacent attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The weakness exists in the DPDK vhost-user interface due to improper check to verify that all the requested guest physical range is mapped and contiguous when performing Guest Physical Addresses to Host Virtual Addresses translations. An adjacent attacker can gain access to vhost-user backend process memory.
