Description

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation in the password change function. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted data, change a specific administrator account password and cause the target system to become inoperable.

Mitigation

Update to version 12.3.
