Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-18702)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data via admincp.php?app=spider&do=import_rule because the upfile content is base64 decoded, deserialized, and used for database insertion in spider.admincp.php in iCMS v7.0.11. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

2) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-16314)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website, such as be bypassed via an admincp.php substring in this header.

3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-16320)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

idreamsoft iCMS 7.0.11 allows admincp.php?app=config Directory Traversal, resulting in execution of arbitrary PHP code from a ZIP file.
