Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3401)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to user enumeration issue within the ManageFilters.jspa resource. A remote non-authenticated attacker can enumerate users via an incorrect authorisation check.


2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3403)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to user enumeration issue in the /rest/api/2/user/picker rest resource. A remote attacker can enumerate users on the system.


3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-3402)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing data passed via a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the searchOwnerUserName parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
