This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10171)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to incomplete fix for SB2018091804 (CVE-2018-14648) in RHEL 7.5. A remote attacker can still trigger resource exhaustion.


2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-14648)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive CPU consumption in the do_search() function. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted search queries to trigger resource exhaustion and denial of service.
