Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2010-4653)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
An integer overflow condition in poppler before 0.16.3 can occur when parsing CharCodes for fonts.
2) Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component (CVE-ID: CVE-2010-4654)
The vulnerability allows a local non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.
poppler before 0.16.3 has malformed commands that may cause corruption of the internal stack.
Remediation
