Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9028)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

2) Sesson Fixation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9034)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform session fixation attacks.

The vulerability exists due to incorrect session handling. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized acces to victim's session and compromise the device.

3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9033)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied passed the FileName parameter to the syslog.php. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal sequences and read contents of arbitrary files on the system.

4) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9032)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied passed the FileName parameter to the syslog.php. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal sequences and read contents of arbitrary files on the system.

5) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9031)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied passed the FileName parameter to the syslog.php. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal sequences and read contents of arbitrary files on the system.

6) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9030)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied passed the FileName parameter to the syslog.php. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal sequences and read contents of arbitrary files on the system.

7) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9029)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied passed via the newUserName parameter on the "User Creation, Deletion and Password Maintenance" screen (when creating a new user). A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal sequences and read contents of arbitrary files on the system.
