Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11942)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file extension when uploading files within the "Add Image" mechanism. A remote authenticated attacker can upload and execute arbitrary file on the server.

2) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11943)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the "system.class" parameter. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

3) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11943)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the "system.discovery_id" parameter. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

4) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11941)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the "data[attributes][other][nmap][ssh_ports]" parameter in "Discovery". A remote authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
