Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11973)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to Apache Camel Netty enables Java deserialization by default. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11972)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to Apache Camel RabbitMQ enables Java deserialization by default. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Reliance on Reverse DNS Resolution for a Security-Critical Action (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11971)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.
The vulnerability exists due to Apache Camel JMX is vulnerable to DNS rebinding attack. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the application and perform spoofing attack.
