Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Interaction Between Multiple Correctly-Behaving Entities (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-2287)
The vulnerability allows a emote attacker to compromise the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a discrepancy between the behavior of the plugin and the Stapler web framework in parsing URL paths. A remote attacker can craft URLs that would bypass request logging.
2) Incorrect Regular Expression (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-2288)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the system.
The vulnerability exists due to the default regular expression pattern can be bypassed in many cases by adding a suffix to the URL that would be ignored during request handling.
