CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27713

CWE-ID: CWE-401 - Missing release of memory after effective lifetime

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform DoS attack on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due memory leak when a BIG-IP AFM HTTP security profile is applied to a virtual server and the BIG-IP system receives a request with specific characteristics. A remote attacker can send specially crafted traffic to the server, force TMM module to leak memory and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
