Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22678)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when parsing project files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and execute arbitrary code on the system.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22682)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local attacker can modify the binaries and configuration files and cause privilege escalation.
