Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Incorrect Regular Expression (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22880)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect regular expression for money processing format in the PostgreSQL adapter. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a regular expression denial of service (ReDOS) attack.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22885)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the Action Pack within the "redirect_to" or "polymorphic_url" helper. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
3) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22904)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in the Token Authentication logic in Action Controller. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
