Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-21662)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected plugin does not perform a permission check in a method implementing form validation. A remote authenticated attacker can enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-21663)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected plugin does not perform a permission check in a method implementing form validation. A remote authenticated attacker can connect to an attacker-specified URL and capture Username/password credentials stored in Jenkins.
3) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-21664)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect permission check. A remote attacker can capture Username/password credentials stored in Jenkins.
4) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-21665)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
