Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in "heckValidRequest" within the handling of the SOAPAction HTTP header. A remote unauthenticated attacker on the local network can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the handling of the Cookie HTTP header. A remote unauthenticated attacker on the local network can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in lighttpd http_parse_request within the handling of the HNAP_AUTH HTTP header. A remote attacker on the local network can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
