DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a local user to crash the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A local user can use specially-crafted TPM 2 command packets containing illegal values to trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Update the affected package libtpms to version 0.8.4-1.
