Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Use of Password Hash With Insufficient Computational Effort (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-33003)

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a weak hashing algorithm. A local user can retrieve passwords in cleartext.

2) Authentication bypass using an alternate path or channel (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-32967)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exist due to improper implementation of the authentication process. A remote attacker can add a new administrative user without being authenticated or authorized and log in and use the device with administrative privileges.

3) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-32955)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload. A remote attacker can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.

4) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-32983)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the /DataHandler/Handler_CFG.ashx endpoint. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

5) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-32991)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.

6) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-38390)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the "egyid" parameter in the /DataHandler/HandlerEnergyType.ashx endpoint. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

7) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-38391)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the "type" parameter in the /DataHandler/AM/AM_Handler.ashx endpoint. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
