Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-39828)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions for temporary files and folders that are set by the application. A local user with access to the system can view contents of files and directories or modify them.
2) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-39827)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions for temporary files and folders that are set by the application. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file and overwrite arbitrary files on the system.
3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-39826)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote authenticated attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary OS commands on the system.
