Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the gitn_box_del() function in isomedia/box_code_base.c. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted media file, trigger a NULL pointer dereference error and crash the application.

Mitigation
