Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-26423)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the .NET Core and Visual Studio. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31204)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in .NET and Visual Studio, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in the ASP.NET Core and Visual Studio. A local user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
