Description

This security bulletin contains information about 10 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-14379)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on a targeted system.

The vulnerability exists due to the "SubTypeValidator.java" file mishandles default typing when Ehcache is used. A remote attacker can send a request that submits malicious input to the targeted system and execute arbitrary code.

2) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-44228)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when processing LDAP requests. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

Note, we are aware of attackers exploiting the vulnerability in the wild.

3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22601)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

4) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22602)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22603)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

6) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22604)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

7) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22605)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

8) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22606)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

9) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22607)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.

10) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22608)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in otool when processing files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and execute arbitrary code on the system.
