Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-21405)

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Explorer component in OSS Support Tools. A local privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information.


2) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-41973)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop while processing HTTP requests. A remote attacker can consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.


3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-30129)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the sshd-core of Apache Mina SSHD. A remote attacker can send specially crafted requests to the server, trigger buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
