This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-18823)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions when READ method is configured to include CLAIMTOBE. A remote attacker can use a different authentication method to submit a job than the administrator has specified.


2) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-26110)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges.

The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization when a user authenticates to an HTCondor daemon via the CLAIMTOBE method. A remote user can impersonate any entity when issuing additional commands to that daemon and escalate privileges within the application.
