Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31482)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request, trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.


2) Direct Request ('Forced Browsing') (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31484)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application does not adequately enforce appropriate authorization on all restricted URLs, scripts, or files. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted network packet to delete a user from the web interface.


3) Direct Request ('Forced Browsing') (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31485)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application does not adequately enforce appropriate authorization on all restricted URLs, scripts, or files. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted packet to update the “notes” section on the home page of the web interface.
