Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use of hard-coded credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-4150)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to presence of hard-coded credentials, such as a password or cryptographic key. A remote unauthenticated attacker can access the affected system using the hard-coded credentials.
2) Unprotected storage of credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-4138)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to other users' credentials.
The vulnerability exists due to IBM SiteProtector Appliance allows web pages to be stored locally. A local user can view contents of the configuration file and gain access to passwords for 3rd party integration.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
