Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22968)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to patterns for disallowedFields on a DataBinder are case sensitive, which means a field is not effectively protected unless it is listed with both upper and lower case for the first character of the field, including upper and lower case for the first character of all nested fields within the property path. A remote attacker can bypass implemented security restrictions by passing case sensitive data to the application.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-26237)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Monitoring: General (highlight.js) component in MySQL Enterprise Monitor. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22119)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Policy (Spring Security) component in Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core Policy. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

4) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31805)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation caused by incomplete fix for #VU48815 (CVE-220-17530). Still some of the tag's attributes could perform a double evaluation if a developer applied forced OGNL evaluation by using the %{...} syntax. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
