Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2463)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted .7z exchange file and gain privileges of the ISaGRAF Workbench software.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2464)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to overwrite arbitrary files and create additional files with the same permissions of the ISaGRAF Workbench software.
3) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2465)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a malicious serialized object and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
