1) Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-28751)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of the package signature in the update process. A local user can place a malicious package in the application directory and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
