Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15168)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.The vulnerability exists due to node-fetch does not honor the size option after following a redirect. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service attack.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29912)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
