Description

This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23504)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application within the YAML placeholder expressions in the site configuration backend module. A remote administrator can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.


2) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23503)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the Form Designer backend module. A remote user can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Insufficient Session Expiration (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23502)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient session expiration issue after Password Reset. A remote user can obtain or guess session token and gain unauthorized access to session that belongs to another user.


4) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23501)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests in Frontend Login. A remote user can bypass authentication process and gain access to a different account.


5) Uncontrolled Recursion (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23500)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to requesting invalid or non-existing resources via HTTP triggers the page error handler which again could retrieve content to be shown as an error message from another page. A remote attacker can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
