Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-23555)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to sandbox bypass via direct access to host error objects generated by node internals during generation of a stacktraces. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the target system.


2) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-23449)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can perform prototype pollution attack and execute arbitrary code on the server.
