Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31812)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop when processing PDF files. A remote attacker can consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.


2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-40664)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to an error when forwarding or including requests via RequestDispatcher. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
