Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-23610)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A user having access to standard interface can export data of almost any GLPI item type, even those on which user is not allowed to access (including assets, tickets, users, etc).
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22500)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions to inventory files, if anonymous access to FAQ is allowed. A remote attacker can view inventory files.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22722)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in browse views. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22725)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote privileged user can create a malicious external link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22724)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing RSS description link. A remote attacker can trick the victim to import a specially crafted RSS feed and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
6) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41941)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data inside the Standard Interface Help Link href attribute. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
