1) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-33150)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to security features bypass in Microsoft Office. A remote user can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and escape the Office Protected View.


2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-33148)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in the Microsoft Office, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
