Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-10196)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the rebuild_vlists() function in lib/dotgen/conc.c within the dotgen library. A remote attacker can trick the victim to open a specially crafted file and crash the application.
2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11023)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dreference error in the agroot() function within cgraphobj.c of the libcgraph.a. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted GraphML input to the affected application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-18032)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in lib/common/shapes.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger heap-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
