Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-40584)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the ArgoCD repo-server component. A remote user can send a specially crafted tar.gz file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-40029)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to cluster secret might leak in cluster details page. A remote user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
