Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22378)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the sorting parameter. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

2) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22843)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in Threat Intelligence rules. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

3) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-23574)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the alerts_count component. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

4) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-23903)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within SAML configuration. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

5) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-24015)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Reports section. A remote user can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

6) Incorrect authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-24471)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.

The vulnerability exists due to the restrictions that are applied on actual assertions not being enforced in their debug functionality. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information on the system.

7) Session Fixation (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-24477)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the session fixation issue. A remote attacker can gain acces to the original user's session.
