Description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds write error in the Routing Protocol Daemon (rpd) when  processing BGP route updates received over an established BGP session. A remote non-authenticated attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS).

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
