SB2023102643 - Multiple DoS vulnerabilities in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved CLI

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-44176)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when handling CLI commands. A local user can can trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-44178)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
